Something like 30-50 medium and I really didn't want to play something under my monitors res and low settings so I just put it off. I went from 90-120fps in HR max to much much lower in MD.

When MD came out I can't remember it either was either demanding or not well optimised (or both), plus a newer game, so it didn't run so good on my then graphics card. I played HR in the lead up to launch so it played fantastic maxed out around 90-120 fps back then even on an aging crippled card I had (GTX 770 but with the low 2GB VRam which really didn't have legs like the 4GB version did). I think one of the things that put me off MD when it first came out was how poorly it ran for me. I'm currently nearing the end of Fallout 76s main story, so I reckon I'll download MD and give it another crack after I'm done, cheers. HR had the perfect sized little hub to get around and if MD is similar that sounds great. So, in summary, I hope you (and others who haven't) give it a new chance because Golem City deserves all the fucking love it can get, and so does the first DLC (System Rift). it's not an expansive open world and it doesn't need to be, I liked exploring it and finding new stuff, but I also wished it was a tad bigger. uh, actually haven't finished "A Criminal Past" yet) is wonderful, that mission should've been part of the main game.Īnd, you know, Prague -despite the daytime- is a wonderful little hub with plenty of sidequests and nooks and crannies. Plus its level design is wonderful too.Īnd the first DLC (I. I hope you give it a chance - its level building is damn good and, despite being set during the day, there are a couple of missions during nighttime and Golem City, despite happening nominally during the day, it's so dark and damp and dreary (see my previous post ITT) it's basically artificial nighttime for 90% of its length.
